I am a seasoned consultant that brings a wealth of experience building business agility into organizations.

Over the past 25+ years, I have worked with large corporations, small specialized businesses, a couple of international consulting companies, and ran my own international consultancy. I have had many job titles: business analyst, consulting manager, project manager, planning manager, to name just a few.

No matter the job title my role has always been to help transform an organization into an agile thinking operation. I have planted the seed and nurtured agile adoption into a mature state within organizations. I have rescued failing projects by introducing agile methods and product thinking. I have driven the adoption of different agile delivery frameworks to help teams build a cadence and predictability in their way of working together. I have worked with leadership teams to understand, appreciate and value agile methods even when it makes them uncomfortable.

My experience has shown me that agile thinking is a natural human trait when there is a trusted partnership. Building a trusted partnership is not a one off step. It takes time and effort to build and then maintain. I have helped build many high performing and trusted teams that have consistently delivered business value to their customers.

I believe the Product Owner role is the heart beat of an agile thinking organization. I have always been an advocate of product ownership and the magic that accomplished and empowered Product Owners bring to the party. I coach Product Owners to better serve their product delivery team as well as represent their product portfolio in the strategic direction of the organization.

My approach to problem solving is to consult (listen), counsel (discuss) and collaborate (work together) to discover and deliver an outcome.

I am often asked what tools I use. My go to tool kit is a multi-colored stack of sticky notes, markers and a whiteboard. I travel with sticky notes, I have them on my desk and it makes me happy when I see conference rooms with a healthy supply in the center of a big table. I am accomplished at using appropriate technology to create a productive and collaborative environment in either an onsite, remote or a hybrid model.

I work with clients to help them to be an agile thinking organization that delivers results.

I run to the beat of my own drum and stay in step with my clients on their journey to being agile thinkers. The start of a journey needs a first step. Take that first step — reach out and we could go on that journey of discovery and growth together.
